Craft’A’Camper LITE

This heater is the one we’ve got the most experience with - it’s the unit we’ve been offering for over 6 years now. We use parts from multiple trusted suppliers and assemble and test in house here in the UK. It’s a very reliable option designed to suit all budgets. These heaters come with a manual fan speed mode, a rough thermostat mode and a wireless key fob remote too - these heaters won’t turn on and off automatically on the thermostat though, just change the fan speed accordingly. The ultra quiet fuel pumps are optional at an additional £40. If you’re just looking for heating solution and not someone who’s likes more personal settings, this option is perfect. Available in 4kw but suit all van types.

Craft’A’Camper PRO

This is a newer model which has been designed from the ground up. With new software and a newer type motor, it’s slightly quieter than the LITE model and also comes with an extended 2 years warranty. Only we sell these units but they are available on a supply only basis too. With more user settings, a redesigned controller and a robust build - it’s the unit we recommend. They come with a manual fan speed mode, timers and 2 thermostat modes where the unit will automatically turn on and off as the temperature fluctuates. The heater comes with the ultra quiet fuel pump at no extra charge, so none of that irritating clicking you get from some other diesel heaters. They also come with a wireless key fob remote and a third party user friendly app too. See more details here.

Autoterm/Planar

Autoterm have a good reputation here in the UK, most of our customers who choose them have simply read their good reviews and we install on their behalf. The main advantage of these units is the network of repairers - with the Craft’A’Camper heaters, its just us that work with them but Autoterm have authorised repairers all over the UK, us included. This being said, on the rare occurrence of fault with any of the units, we’ll always be happy to help. We can offer these on a supply only basis too. We supply the Autoterm Units standard with the advanced “Comfort Controller”. ​

CONS: Expensive to repair, Long priming cycle, 4kw units can be loud, no wireless remote, £120+ for remote access app function.
